NON-DISCRIMINATION STATEMENT

It is the intent of Chautauqua County Community Unified School District #286, Sedan, KS to comply with both the letter and the spirit of the law in making certain that discrimination, does not exist in its policies, regulations, and operations.  Grievance procedures for Title IX and Section 504 have been established for students, their parents, and employees who feel discrimination has been shown by the local education agency.

The Chautauqua County Community School District does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, or age in its programs and activities and provides equal access to the Boy Scouts and other designated youth groups. The following person has been designated to handle inquiries regarding the non-discrimination policies:
